Is a power rake and a dethatcher the same thing?

 We want dethatch our backyard and we have been active to do it ourselves rather than pay a landscaper - catalog I checked the rental tool composed Depot and they do not have a thatcher "but they have a rake" power "- are those of the same or what is the change?

 Yes, and they are terrifying. There is a similar tool called Scarifiers which will reduce deeper into your lawn and it's really only for use when you're planning to reseed unconditionally.

Most of the guys fixing machines, the bigger and stronger the better. And before you take me to task for that comment, the following response: Who in your family usually uses the chain saw, lawn mower, tiller and snowblower? In my example, is the guy. Not always, but often. So spring is here, and the guys (and a few intrepid women) are itching to get out the link saw to cut the pine branches that broke off last winter, then get to work on the lawn.

Me?I'm not much of a type gadget to learn about the different options motorized, I visited the Upper Rental on Bridge Street in West Lebanon, NH, and I spoke to Brian Henry, the director. We looked on his arsenal of machines: an electric broom, a lawn-Thatcher, a seed-aerator and a sweeper with a 40-inch brush, and I went with a broom handy electric try .

Power Sward Dethatchers

Power dethatchers are also known as power rakes and thatching machines.  They are machines designed to undo thatch from a green. They are nearly the same to a gas-powered green mower, but are bulkier and heavier (twice as much or more than sward mowers). Typically two people are required to get one into or out of a business or trailer. Along the bottom are rows of blades that can be set at opposite heights and widths excepting depending on the nark archetype and amount of thatch. The blades can be set to go into the inside information and rip out the thatch or they can be set to slice through the thatch, which is then raked up later. Sometimes the tick deal with is referred to as power raking, but many people use the two terms interchangeably.

Thatch
