I just bought a house in utah. The lawn has a lot of dirt spots and is thin. its now Feb. when should i reseed?
I realized that fall is the best route to reseed, but it is too late for that. It also seems to be a lot of thatch. Can I use a rate inure to rent a place of de-Thatcher? I am a firm budget and need to do this as stingy as possible.

Soggy Soil How Much Risk to Germination?

If the field is soggy most of the day, germination could be a poser. The seeds will rot if they stay too wet. You could try to reseed once you've turned off those zones, and first-grade by hand, or you could grow something else there that doesn't resolute being damp.
