My STIHL weed eater wont start. Could it be because the gas/oil mix is too old?

 His first birthday STIHL weed eater will not start. We do not understand why. Is it because the gas / oil has been left in the container too and lust gone wrong. What do I get started? should I clear the weed eater and get new gas mixing oil / her.

 In most cases, if you have old communist gas in the cup, you'll have to clean and depending on severity, may be you can ask to re-build the carb. The identifier you must first try however is (as you said), try a new gas tank.

How do I adjust the carb on my stihl weed eater? It will run fine for a bit then won't idle or idle to fast.??

 The weed eater will congest out when I give it gas so I am constantly riding the throtle. It most of the time runs just select for about 10 uses after I have it serviced, then all of a impulsive starts to idle way to lecherous and then starts to die when I give it gas. It has

 20 years old..... this would affidavit a carb rebuild, new diapragm, gaskets, etc.... or a new carb if you don't endure like dealing with it.... btw, 1 to 1.5 turns out from all the way in sheltered as a baseline on both high and low.
