using gas Weedeater and universal blade head?

 I bought a gas mower weedeater sst25c Warrior cons weeds blade head in the world, which says its compatible with 99% of all gas trimmers, including weedeater. I rode it and it fits very. But the weedeater told not to use blades. Is this a strict liability CYA disclosure?
