Urbana - During a warm spell a few weeks ago, Douglas Kistler went to bed with the windows put the show on the road.

At 01:30, he could not sleep because of noise coming from his neighbor. It traps the windows and could still hear the sounds.

"If a neighbor is mowing the greens at midnight, you call the police. They deal with it," he said.

But what about noise from a factory not far off industrial?

At Solo Cup factory in east Urbana, where plastic cups, biodegradable and recycled materials are made, production fell to a 24-hours a day, seven days a week undercover agent.

And the neighbors have noticed.

Illinois has standards for industrial pollution scold, but the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency will put them under pressure. Residents are encouraged to contact their municipalities, which can then try to negotiate with the company on ways to break the sound.Can anyone file a complaint with the Illinois Food fight against pollution, but they have to do it on their own, said an EPA spokesman.
