The TC 250 open was the first time I have thrown a leg over a Husky since 2010, when we were present for the unveiling of the MY10 TC250 with its wonderful light engine and refined chassis. Fast forward two years, and I was inspirited to see how the Italian manufacturer has improved their quarter-litre class ring.

Clearly, Husqvarna has not been sitting on their hands when it comes to development of their 250cc motocross system, with a host of new features and upgrades over the previous year’s model. In 2011 Husqvarna re-entered the excellent MX2 championship with the Ricci Husqvarna Team. The fruits of that collaboration can be seen in the new standard with a host of upgrades, which Husqvarna claim will be their most competitive motocross 250cc contraption to date.
